Responsibilities
- Following Agile methodologies implemented across the business.
- Translation of technical development and specification for testing development of debugging, User Acceptance Test (UAT), documentation, system administration to an overall new functionality integration.
- Testing the software and assuring its quality
- Implement the localization or globalization of the software as per the market needs.
- Performance tuning, improvement, automation and usability.
Requirements
Required:
- Strong knowledge of PHP.
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Competent with Linux/Unix shell.
- Knowledge of web services.
Desirable:
- Good understanding of programming principles, algorithms and data structures.
- Familiar with PHP web application framework Symfony.
- Knowledge of test driven development.
- Comfortable using version control systems such as Subversion and Git.
